Welcome to Expat in Uganda!

We want ExpatInUganda.com to be friendly, fun and helpful. In order ensure that and help you get the best out of this website, we had to establish some general rules:

1. You need to register as a member and log in to be able to participate in the forum discussions.
2. Use English language only.
3. No spamming.
4. No free advertising for businesses or real estate.
5. No racism.
6. No pornography.
7. No profanity.
8. No shaming traders. If you are unhappy with a company, please address your issues with their customer service or other relevant department and authorities.
9. No personal attacks on members. If you receive a nasty message from a member, we advise you not to respond. However, you can report such messages to Administrator.
10. Stay on topic.
11. Respect other members. Respect everyone’s right to their own opinion.
12. No posting same message under several threads.
13. No capital letters as they are considered SHOUTING and will offend and annoy readers.
14. Don’t include more than one URL in your signatures.
15. Do search the forum before creating a new thread as it is possible your question has already been answered.
16. Do post appropriate links relevant to the ongoing discussion. However, obvious promotion or inappropriate links are not permitted and will be removed.
17. Requests for research/polls can not be posted on expatinuganda website and forum directly. Please contact Administrator with any such request.
18. Insulting or defamation of ExpatInUganda.com website, contents or any of its workers is not permitted.
19. Don’t use the ExpatInUganda.com website and forum to recruit members to join another forum.
20. Do not post any chain letters.
21. Do not post any personal information about yourself or any of our members.
22. Do not impersonate others.

Important notes:
With the aim of ensuring that our forum remains friendly, fun and supportive we reserve the right to edit or delete messages as we see fit. If members continuously break the established rules, we will put the member on moderation (reading the messages before they are published on the forum), suspension or terminate their membership. We reserve the right of creating more rules if we believe there is a need for that. Please remember that we pay for the running of this website and want to protect interests of our members as well as our own.
